Who We Are

Stewart Springs, LLC, is our family-owned and operated business, local to Pomeroy, Ohio. While trying to spruce up our own 100-acre farm, we realized there was not only a need for land-clearing services in the area, but also services that were sustainable to the natural environment we were trying to create. We enjoy wildlife, forestry, and teaching our three children the importance that plants and animals have in our lives.

The "Springs" in our name is a tribute to the natural ground springs that bubble up from the earth in numerous spots on our property.

In addition to the many wild animals cruising around our area, we have 3 dogs, 15 chickens, and a bunny named "Toaster".

What We Do

While researching what kind of services we needed for own property, we stumbled across the idea of forestry mulching. Once we saw the positive effects it can have on an area, we knew we wanted to offer this service to others who may (and may not!) have the same vision as us.

Forestry mulching is a very cost-effective way to clear overgrown brush and prevent invasive species in wooded and non-wooded areas. The mulching machine grinds the vegetation, creating a debris (mulch). It then spreads the mulch back over the ground, and then breaks down and creates a more fertile soil and encourages natural plant growth. With no need for multiple machines, forestry mulching makes a great, quick, and affordable solution to your land-clearing troubles!
